Done Reading in 2015

done reading 2015 January

Done Reading in 2015 added them to good-reads to keep track of my reading in this wonderful year!

Here are the reviews:

Enduring Love by Wareeze Woodson

Do you know that long distance relationships can last?  This is what this book is about, true love and enduring love between two people who by circumstances are broken as they separated due to unforeseen circumstances.  It is a very well written, no mistake book that I read in just two days. The characters are moving and realistic and the emotions are forever engraved as the pages keep turning.  If you love a great novel written in the romance category you will love this book, men, women, teens or just about anyone!  © 2015 Jackie Paulson

Showdown at Crossings: A Tale of Andor by M. K. Theodoratus

This fantasy book is not one that I would normally want to read but chose it and was not disappointed.  I have to admit I wanted to read what others thought of this book before buying it.  I wanted to learn more about the author: Theodoratus!  What makes writers want to write fantasy is a question I keep in my mind.  The imagination of the author in this book is really realistic in so many parts of the book.  I was wanting to read more as the character Ebe Brown had neighbors move in and are breeding dogs they are more like demonic dogs.  What makes someone want to breed mean dogs?  It all comes together as the ploy to take over land  plays out.  I was drawn in like glue to paper and was not disappointed reading this book. © 2015  Jackie Paulson

This review is from: Lazar’s Darkness (Jack Lazar Series Book 5) (Kindle Edition)

Lazar’s Darkness will not disappoint those that love an action packed book which will take you on an exciting adventure, turning each page!
Each book added to the series of author Jack Lazar keeps the reader wanting more. Jack’s character is definitely believable as he is the best man in his best friend’s wedding, and is off to Italy. I have learned more about Italy ever since picking up this series than any other book. The relationship with his new found lady, Francesca is one that takes you into the bedroom and also leads to an adventure not predictable as the pages turn. With all that said, I won’t give away too much so that you can pick this book up knowing it’s a great novel with suspense, a thrill ride, steamy sexual content and conspiracy to take you away on a rainy day. © 2015 Jackie Paulson

Fixed Term love by Jo IIes reminds me of the movie “how to lose a guy in ten days” because of the love story. The main character is Vanessa whom is a personal assistant. If you struggle in the world her character is one that you will identify. Vanessa has been working for a publishing agency for the past six years without a raise. I was thinking to myself, “been there done that, move on.” As you turn the pages Vanessa finally decided to ask her boss for a raise and the outcome with the conversation will not go as she had planned. © 2015 Jackie Paulson
